I stayed at a lovely house in Arco da Calheta for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The host, Cecilia, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even offering me a delicious homemade cake and Madeira wine upon arrival. The apartment was sparkling clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The highlight was definitely the balcony, which had a stunning view of the sea. I also appreciated the convenient location, with a bus stop right next to the house and plenty of restaurants and hiking routes nearby. a fantastic stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Teixeira House in Arco da Calheta. the guest house was spacious with a nice view terrace, perfect for those who enjoy walking. the kitchen was well-equipped and Maria, the host, was friendly and helpful. Despite our late arrival, she made sure we could access the house and even left us a delicious cake and wine. the room was comfortable with ample storage and the balcony had a stunning sea view. The location was convenient, with nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking routes. Cons: Nothing not to like 😊.
